Employee development programs are an integral part of SICS’s mission to encourage the growth and development of its employees. The college provides a platform for self-improvement and professional advancement, which has been embraced by the faculty. Through various FDPs, our employees have gained valuable knowledge and skills that enable them to improve their teaching & research. On August 30th, 2020, the IQAC team at SICS organized a one-day Faculty Development Program. The workshop attracted the participation of around 40 faculties from other colleges. The session focused on the various aspects of IQAC functionalities and the challenges faced in implementing them.

FDP on Data Analysis with R, Python
From November 18th to November 22nd, 2019, SICS hosted a five-day Faculty Development Program on Data Analysis with R and Python. The program included a session by SICS faculty member, Ms. Pooja Tiwari, who covered the basics of IT and Python, as well as other programming languages such as C and C++. Mr. Nilesh Singh, from IIT Bombay, led a session on the application of R Software in research activities.
